You are more than welcome. We were very lucky to know such a fantastic person. Adam was loved by his peers no matter how far away we were. He was liked and respected by everyone here in Radford, VA and he will be missed.

Just this past Monday and Tuesday, I spent my first time in Marengo since Adam passed. I must admit that it hit me quite hard before I could even walk into the building knowing that Adam would not be there. He was a very good (long distance) friend to me.

I wish you and your family peace of heart. Know that we share your pain and will always remember the friend we had in Adam.

You are forever in our thoughts and prayers.

      With love and kind regards,
      Greg Tinsley

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Aponte family and the Marengo (Thomson) family for this loss. Adam will be missed.

My heart is real heavy right now. God has called home another true angel. Though my main man Adam worked more than 700 plus miles away, he was more than a co-worker; he was a great friend, husband, father and true leader at our Marengo, IL facility. He will be truly missed. I’m glad God allowed me the opportunity to meet him on a plant visit where he showed me nothing but love during the visit. I also thank God that each time we got the opportunity to talk over the phone , he always said, “I love you brother” and I would repeat back “Love u too man!” I hope he gets to meet up with my homie Nookie in paradise because I never met 2 die hard Green Bay Packers in my life! May God bless his family and friends through this tough time.

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27

  16. Michele Secor says:

I’m so grateful to have known Adam. I had this experience of losing my dad, age 50, the same cause. Adam was so proud of Joy, sharing bike riding stories and he was so proud of you for your athleticism and being a wonderful person, your creative home decorating projects, raising two wonderful sons. He IS so proud of his sons, sharing their stories of dating the ladies, family golf outings, football games, and keeping up with them. To have such a wonderful man in our lives, the hole is big and quiet and seemingly empty. Please remember his love and pride and goodness to fill it back up. Keep the family traditions going. Tell the stories. Keep the photos out in the open. Celebrate Adam! He was a wonderful, full of life man.

  17. Dan Verdick says:

That faithful day when I started working in Marengo and met Adam I knew he was a great guy. Our many golf trips and times just hanging are some of my best memories. I am proud to say he was my friend. Know that the he has touched so many lives and none of us will be the same without him here. He will live in our hearts forever. I know the pain is great right now and know he will remain in our hearts forever.

He is a very special, and kind individual, and a man who would give you the shirt off his back. Never wanted anything back from anyone. When Adam and your family came into our lives it might so much to us. We never met such a wonderful person. He really touched our lives. He would make you laugh and always be there if you needed him. Adam will be missed. Joy if you and the boys need anything, please let us know. We are here for you. Adam will touch a lot of hearts where he is going. They have someone very special up there now.

Adam I cant belive you are gone. I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to work with you and chat with you on the phone. As many here in Radford VA, even though we never met, you surely did touch many lives. And you touched mine. Thank you for your kindness and your drive to help us in times of needs. 30. Ezra Ford says:

Adam was one of the finest and hardest working Gentlemen I’ve ever encountered in any line of work I’ve been involved in. His assistance and encouragement was extremely precious to me during the time we worked together and I’ll always treasure meeting him the brief time I spent at the factory in Marengo. I always sent him flyers for my bands performances here in Virginia and we constantly ribbed each other about the Bears and Packers. I’ll miss his friendship dearly and pray for Gods healing mercy and comfort to his family.

  34. Jason Higgins says:

There is so much to say about the many ways Adam touched lives, at home and across the country. I wish I could have actually met Adam, but even just from daily work calls, he became a friend that I respected and looked up to. He was always friendly, ready to help, and typically left me with a smile on my face after a chat. A small piece of me left this world with Adam, but he left more with me in the way of life lessons. I hope to be half the man Adam was, and he will always hold a place in my heart and memory. I love you, brother.

    Your Friend,
